Christmas Edible Pavlova Wreath Pavlova is a meringue-based dessert named after the Russian ballet dancer Anna Pavlova. It is a meringue dessert with a crisp crust and soft, light inside. (similar to meringue cookies but made big like the size of a cake or mini cakes) This Pavlova is in the shape of a wreath. But it’s usually has a rustic roundish shape You can use a variety of creative toppings (fruits, candy, nuts, whipped cream, yogurt, chocolate ganache etc)
Christmas Rocky Road: It’s not that I felt my usual Rocky Road Crunch Bars needed any improvement (though fiddling with recipes is one of life’s pleasures) but I thought they would benefit from some seasonal adjustment. So, out go the Rich Tea biscuits and in come amaretti and – in the seasonal spirit – I’ve crammed in some Brazil nuts and glacé cherries (as red as Rudolph’s nose), along with snowy mini marshmallows.
Fantasy Pavlova topped with luscious berries - perfect for Christmas in New Zealand! (Annabel Langbein). This is how I like my pav - loaded with berries on top of a blend of 50/50 sweetened whipped cream and greek yoghurt, just to cut down the richness a tad.
