View from the top of the Creek of En-Vau. The calanques are characteristic alcoves of the Mediterranean in the Provençal coast, at the end submerged valleys narrow and deep. Visit on foot, to the West of Cassis, the calanques de Port-Miou, Port-Pin and En-Vau by a path which follows the cliff (4 hours).
This is the Amalfi Coast in Italy....dreamt of this place before I had ever seen pictures....swimming there and hearing the locals speak in Italian....and me asking where we were.... "Amalfi!!" they kept telling me....someday I will swim in person...
