Homemade foaming soap: 1 inch of liquid hand soap, Slowly fill the rest of the bottle with tap water. Put lid back on, and gently tip upside down & side to side to mix. Don’t shake (it will get too sudsy)
Take a spray bottle, fill it about 1/8th full with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of Dawn dishwashing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good ), fill the rest of the way with water, shake together, and you're good to go! It makes your granite (or any countertop) shine and feel so smooth at a fraction of the price~I have loved it and use it on my appliances as well. Got this from Melissa at granvillehouse.blogspot. She is amazing!
Homemade cleaner/degreaser! My version of this recipe is half water, vinegar, a few squeezes of the BLUE Dawn dish soap. Some people prefer an old clean ketchup bottle to squeeze, makes for less fumes.
Purchase a one quart glass bottle of white vinegar, add 25 drops of doTERRA Lavender essential oil + 1 teaspoon rubbing alcohol (for emulsion). You now have a quart of naturally softening fabric softener! Good for your skin, good for your appliance and good for the planet!
