Hekate (my favorite image/artwork of Her)

Hecate, Greek goddess of the moon, magic, riches, wisdom, victory, flocks and navigation. (popular with poor, stupid shepherds who had lost their way and were about to be beaten up - jc)

Hekate (or is this a Witch-priestess?!)

Hecate, Greek goddess of the three paths, guardian of the household, protector of everything newly born, and the goddess of witchcraft -- once a widely revered and influential goddess, the reputation of Hecate has been tarnished over the centuries. In current times, she is usually depicted as a "hag" or old witch stirring the cauldron.

I commune with the Divine to develope power to be.

Hekate is a powerful triple goddess of the Moon, Earth, and Underworld. Perhaps originally a moon goddess, Her name means "far-darter", which is a title also given to Apollo the sun-god whose rays are like arrows, and indeed she was often equated with his archer sister Artemis. Hekate is said to have come from Thrace, a land the Greeks considered barbaric, and most accounts name Her daughter of the Titans Perses (by some accounts brother to Kirke) and Asteria
