DIY Drain-O: 1/2 cup baking soda 1 cup vinegar 1 gallon boiling water Carefully siphon all the baking soda down the drain. Pour in 1/2 of the vinegar, covering the hole so the fizz is forced down, not up (omit this for toilets, please!). Add the second half of the vinegar, following the same procedure. Allow to sit for 15 minutes or so, and then flush with an entire gallon of boiling water. One of my customers had spilled coffee on his white shirt and dried the shirt before realizing the stain hadn't come out. He asked me for advice and the lady in line behind him told him to make a mixture like this. He came back the next day and the stain was gone pecan. Apparently this works on any stain except grease stains! Trying it tonight on Kenneth's work shirts.

Clogged drain? THIS REALLY WOKS! Remove as much water as you can. Toss 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, then pour down a cup of household vinegar, plug with the sink stopper then let sit for half an hour. After about 30 minutes, unplug the sink and pour a kettle full of hot water on top.
