Most people don't know "Keep Calm and Carry On" was actually a poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of the SECOND WORLD WAR, intended to raise the morale of the British public in the event of invasion. In 2000 this poster randomly came back into the public eye and has been widely reproduced along with multiple parodies.
