Paula Deen The Lady’s Cheesy Mac - 4 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces. 1/2 cup sour cream. 2 cups grated cheddar cheese. 3 eggs, beaten. 4 cups cooked elbow macaroni, drained. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup milk. Never thought of adding sour cream to macaroni & cheese, but I love sour cream... so it's worth a try!
Cucumber, Tomato and Onion Salad _ 1 pound cucumbers (about 2 cucumbers), peeled and thinly sliced 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved 1/2 Vidalia onion, very thinly sliced 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon olive oil Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Paula Deen's gooey butter cake... A couple of years ago, my teenage son had this at her restaurant. He loved it sooo much, he said I just had to find out how to make it. I was delighted to tell him that I already had the recipe at home! 25 years ago, I had entered it in our church cookbook! I guess I used to make it so much that I had slowly quit making it at all. These days it's the requested dessert by all of his friends!
Paula Deen Lemonade - If you don't want to make this with sugar, then substitute with Truvia (stevia) all natural or Agave syrup.....DELICIOUS!! But read conversion charts on the substitutes-dont add 2 cups truvia-stevia it is alot sweeter than sugar etc.-vc
Jamie’s Chili....... This is Paula Deen's son, Jamie. This is MY favorite chili ever. I have made it many times and gotten rave reviews. The combo of sausage and beef is perfect. I buy big cans of all the beans, use what I need for the current recipe and freeze proper amounts to have ready for the next time. It is on the stove for trick or treaters tonight! A KEEPER.
