    Granted, there's a lot of confusion. but we designers likely the main cause. We've bandied about and generated new terms every few years. MMI, HFE, UI, UA, VD, ID, UX, HCI, HMI, UR, WUI, MUI, IUI, etc. Even amongst ourselves we have different interpretations. Ironically, we don't follow our own mantra - K.I.S.S. How can we expect outsiders to get it?

    Actually UX often includes many different areas of expertise. User experience "is" a lot of things put together and UI (User Interface) is part of that, so we can't compare UX with UI because they are part of each other.
