An old fashioned washing machine. Remember those? #washing machines

My grandma used this type of washer when I was a kid. I remember wringing out clothes through that wringer on top! I remember when Mom got her first automatic washing machine!

A wringer washer. My oldest sister put her arm in the wringer. Big mistake.

Wringer washer like my mom and grandmas had. I remember when my sister got her arm caught in the roller.

Table jukebox - Some cafes had these at every booth.

A pinner wrote: "Table top jukeboxes in restaurants. Put your coin in at the top and select your favorite song." I remember that each one of us kids was given a nickel and we got to pick out our own song.

"Old School" is remembering when school desks looked like this.

School Desk-mine was like this! Some of the boys had desks overflowing with paper and stuff so we had to have a desk check once a week.

I'm pretty sure you can't buy anything even close to a realistic toy gun anymore. We played Cops and Robbers and Cowboys and Indians in the woods and didn't grow up to be bad people. Love the smell of those spent caps!

I couldn't wait until we got the new Christmas catalog.... I would go through and mark everything I wanted and then said Santa could take his pick! lol!

Remember the BIG catalogs? I especially loved the Sears 'Christmas' catalog. many a night, circling things that I wanted Santa to bring! Of course it helped that my family had a Sears Catalog Store!

Getting to be the kid who the teacher let beat out the chalkboard erasers

Eraser's for chalkboards at school. If you got in trouble with a teacher you would have to clean them by hitting them on the ground! Our current Smart Board generation will never know what it means to "clap erasers" for the teacher.
