    Alnwick Castle is located in Alnwick, Northumberland, England. It is the second largest inhabitable castle in England. Construction on this incredible structure began in 1096 under the rule of Yves de Vescy, Baron of Alnwick. It was the main fortress protecting England’s northern border from Scottish invasion and border reivers, medieval raiders.
