Bokja presented vintage furniture upholstered in Middle Eastern fabrics at Design Miami last week. Dezeen have a good set of photos from the special collection. Bokja design uses textiles that are distinctive and specific to the area that they come from. Rich floral designs that contrast with the aridity of the steppes of Central Asia, haunting circles that invoke images of the sun and moon in Samarkand, and rich gold thread embroidery that recalls the sumptuousness of the Ottoman empire.

Super love!!! Metal speaks to the industrial side, but the feminine circular shapes and weathered red paint scream VINTAGE!
