Dying Easter eggs with 100% silk ties (can be found a thrift shops).  Separate the lining of the tie and cut enough to go around the egg (trying to smooth out wrinkles, use a twist tie to secure, then wrap with white fabric (like an old pillow case), cut to fit around the egg and use another tie wrap. Boil tied up egg in water with 1/4 C vinegar for about 20 mins. Take out, let cool and unwrap to reveal your design.
