"Can I Chew Gum in Class?" and other annoying questions kids ask...Instead of simply reading your rules to the students on the first day, let them find the answers to their most common questions in this back-to-school activity.
This is a comprehensive 7 page document that lists and categorizes every single procedure/routine to teach in your classroom. This takes all of the guess work out of your beginning of the year management plan
I would use this worksheet during a read-aloud. I would pass this out and have students fill it out before I read when they only knew the title and what the book was about; during reading; and after when their during reading questions had not been answered. Then we could answer them all as a class or find partners to help answer them.
