Canned Goods

1/2 cup Chocolate protein powder


1/4 tsp Stevia extract

Baking & Spices

2 tbsp Cocoa powder
2 tbsp Coconut flour
1/2 tsp Hazelnut extract
1 cup Hazelnut meal

Oils & Vinegars

3 tbsp Hazelnut oil


1/3 cup Greek yogurt, full-fat


3 tbsp Swerve sweetener or granulated erythritol

Grain Free Banana Waffles - grainfree, glutenfree -coconut flour for flour and banana for sweetener

Banana Bread Waffles // brown rice flour = gluten free. Made these this morning! They are every bit as tasty as they look. Huge hit with the kids, and I will stick a couple in the toaster for Clay tomorrow morning so he can enjoy them too. :) I used pecans instead of walnut b/c that's what I had on hand. I also made a syrup by heating raw honey and adding water and vanilla.

I get a lot of questions about what I can eat on the Pure Protein and Fat days. In the last chapter of Secrets to a Healthy Metabolism, I added 5 tips to accelerate weight loss and one of those tips is to eat Pure Protein and Fat for the first 7 days. Some people have very damaged metabolisms where even low-starch veggies can cause an inability to lose weight. With these clients, we need to even cut out low-starch vegetables for 1 week.
