I tried this. Unfortunately the icing did not set well - maybe because it was a really hot day. So I put the cake in the fridge for the icing to remain set without the layers sliding apart. Hmmm - IT IS A SUPER-RICH very heavy cake. Tasty, but I did feel sick after eating it. I would use a different icing the next time - something less sweet, and not so rich.
