Great Horned Owl - outside my house in Southern NJ--- hoo-hoo-hooo-hooooo. Couldn't find him in the dark, but I did see one in Allegheny State Park when I was a kid.

I saw one of these red phase eastern screech owls in one of my oak trees last night.  I had never seen one before.  My cat found it or I would have never seen it in the dark.  11/16/16
