@Mary Powers White Place a layer of wax paper on top of upper kitchen cabinets where dust and grease particles gather. Every few months, switch out the paper for a fresh sheet. Includes other wax paper uses.
This really works, amazing! My mother tried it with success and then told me, so I tried it too! :-) Great way to clean Oven Top Filters-- Boil a big pot of water, add a half cup of baking soda (but only one tablespoon at a time - it fizzes). Drop the filter in and watch the grease slide off. Rinse, repeat if desired (I scrubbed gently in some spots).
fill a measuring glass with 1 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 cup of vinegar, set it in the microwave, turn on microwave on for 5 min and go on to another chore... CAUTION-use a towel to grab glass, will be HOT! Take a wet wash cloth and wipe every bit of the mess out. Seriously 6 minutes and I had a clean microwave.
Trap #1: Mix two tablespoons of borax with jam, jelly, honey or syrup until there is a paste. Smear some on some paper or a plate and put it where the ants are at. They should flock to it and eat it and take it back to the nest and it will act as a natural ant killer. ... Many more wonderful ideas on the web page .. check it out!

This is going to be much more cost-effective than building shelves, especially since I can pick up junk furniture and just use the drawers. I will be covering the insides in fabric that matches the curtains/pillows/animal beds.
