Fluttering Through First Grade: Bathroom policy - students make a tally in the box with their number every time they go to the bathroom. This way you don't have to deny anyone who actually needs to go, but you have a record for both the student and their parents if someone is going too often.

My 2nd graders made these adorable "selfies" for their parents to see at conferences. Needless to say, they were a hit!

This can be used in so many ways by changing the title of the boxes! Use this idea for writer's workshop to keep up with where kids are in the process. Or where everyone is. Use a cookie sheet and trim in fun duct tape!

My 8th graders loved this kind of stuff when I was student teaching.

Each divider/tab is a different Common Core Standard. Put printables in sheet projectors and pop it into the right section/standard in the binder. Who knew that the 26 tabs from Avery would be a PERFECT fit?

For notes, lunch money, etc. Love this because you always have kids coming to you every morning with different things to give you!
