Faramir is one of my favorite characters. He loves his father and his country so much that he keeps fighting for them even when he keeps getting kicked in the face.

David Wenham as Faramir. The hair really can make or break the face huh?

Relatively Unknown LoTR Fact (Part 5) - Faramir Captain of Gondor

"I think you have strength. . .of a different kind. And one day your father will see it."

Faramir rereading this & I feel sad that the movie didn't show just how true and wonderful he was.

Faramir was awesome! Probably my favorites out of the humans(Yeah, I like Aragorn, but Faramir is epic!

Faramir, one of my favorite character from the book he was a little bit nicer to Frodo and Sam than shown in the film. A warrior pushed into the shadows of the other great characters....

Faramir, Lord of the Rings + Titanic lyrics?! Jus can't handle so much awesome

One of the most beautiful lines in the book. I have ALWAYS loved the two of them. After all that Faramir went through, and all the friendzoning Aragorn did to Eowyn, I was always so glad they found each other.

"And so they stood on the walls of the City of Gondor, and a great wind rose and blew and their hair, raven and golden, streamed out mingling in the air." #TheLordOfTheRings #Faramir #Eowyn

THERE. Have some Faramir and Eowyn hugs to make up for that.

Eowyn and Faramir will always be my favorite characters in LotR. (Aside from Sam and Aragorn of course). Their story is so beautiful; so poignant. They both had horrible, difficult lives, but they learned to overcome it; they came out stronger on the other side, and they were both saved by the other.
