I love the idea of each group having their own bookshelf, tissue box, hand sanitizer, and trash can. It would be nice if there were cups for sharpened and unsharpened pencils too to prevent all useless wandering. My cooperating teacher had a filing cabinet for each of her pods, but I like this better

Teacher Time Savers

Teacher Time Savers - tape these "not finished yet" bags on the front of students' desks. Keeps papers from getting lost and allows the teacher to see how much work each student still needs to finish.

Pick six students every Friday and write them a special note on their desks for them to find Monday morning. Keep a list and start again when everyone in the class has been done.

Must Do/May Do keeping kids on task, what should i be doing? Good for finishing off work T this time of the year!

This blog is full of crazy classroom organization! The colour coded addict in me is loving this ;) For ex: "Each student has a "Work in Progress" Folder in their desk. They use this folder to put any unfinished work in. Anytime throughout the day that they have time, they are to get this folder out and finish any work in it. This really helps the students keep from shoving papers in their desk."

The displays are made with file folders in the first few days of school. Students complete an "about me" sheet that is attached to the first part of the file folder. The entire file folder is then laminated. A gallon sized storage bag is added to the bottom part of the file folder for students' work to be displayed.
