This project uses hot tap water, not boiling water, so it's safer for young crystal growers. Place the crystal solution in the refrigerator and get sparkly needle-like crystals within a few minutes to a few hours. It's that easy! 1/2 cup Epsom salt 1/2 cup hot tap water food coloring (optional) instructions here: http://chemistry.about.com/od/crystalrecipes/ht/cupofcrystals.htm
remember....Borax ant bait. Borax is the most common ingredient in house ant control products, and get this: it's absolutely 100% natural. The best way (in my opinion) to use Borax is to mix 1 cup of warm water with 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of Borax. Then soak the Borax mixture up with cotton balls and place those cotton balls near any trails the ants have established in your home. Feeding frenzy... tomorrow they'll be gone. I knew there had to be a way to do this naturally!
Big Beautiful Roses- Add a tablespoon of Epsom Salt around rose beds for big beautiful roses! Fertilizer! Clearly if it helps make your grass green it’s going to be great for fertilizing. Add a little to the soil around your plants, even your household ones. This also acts as a natural insecticide detering insects. Tile Cleaner! Mix equal parts of Epsom Salt with your liquid dish detergent. This makes a great scrub mixture for all your tile grout on floors and walls.
