Special Limited Edition Pen of the year 2015 - The luxurious Special Edition of the “Sanssouci, Potsdam” Pen of the Year combines 24-carat gold plating with gemstone workmanship of extraordinary refinement. The barrel is decorated with four beautifully designed Silesian serpentines. A rare chrysoprase crowns the cap of the plunger-type fountain pen.
Formed as a quill, encrusted with seed pearls and emeralds, this extraordinary pen was presented on 13th June, 1867 to Prince Aleksander Gorchakov by the wives of St. Petersburg aristocrats to commemorate the 50th anniversary of his service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Pen of the Year 2015 - Four large, green Silesian serpentines are embedded into the platinum-plated barrel of the plunger-type fountain pen and envision the aura of these magnificent rooms perfectly. The cap of the fountain pen is adorned with grey, shimmering, Russian quartz with a facet finish.
A Russian glass, silver gilt and cloisonne enamel inkwell made by Gustav Klingert, Moscow, circa 1895. Of tapering form, the glass inkwell's lid decorated with scrolling filigree wires against a turquoise ground bordered by white enamel beads, the stand similarly decorated.
