To clean ceramic stove top. Works better than store bought cleaners!! Soak clean rag in hot soapy water, Apply baking soda in a generous amount all over the affected area of ceramic stove top. Cover with wet (not damp) rag. Let stand 15 min. ** USE GLOVES** Gently scrub the surface. Dry off surface. Repeat if necessary. Best remember for before we move!
my stove top was REALLY REALLY bad and I have tried EVERYTHING expensive cleansers and letting it soak in standing water - this made a dent - I have done it twice and the hubby was "wow, thats working!" so yeah, maybe a couple more times and I will have it, but I do reccomend the gloves, I don't have any and am having to keep lotion on them now to keep them from cracking
This is supposed to be THE best way to clean the microwave. Put 1-2 C of water and one T of vinegar in container in microwave. Microwave until half the water has evaporated. Wait 10 mins. Remove bowl carefully; careful, the water will still be hot enough to burn. Scrub the walls of the microwave with a sponge sprinkled with baking soda. Wipe down microwave with a cloth dampened in clean water and the oven will be sparkling clean and free of odors.
