If you want your children to turn out well, spend twice as much time with them, and half as much money. ~Abigail Van Buren---so true!

I always need to remember this. Despite how much he traveled when we were young, my dad had a frame on his desk that said something like, "T.I.M.E. spells love to a child." It's so true.

I love this quote because before Dylan was here, I worried about not being able to put kids 100% before myself. Now it's more like rarely putting myself first! :)

So true!! My parents showed me this, hubby's parents showed him this and we plan to show our kids this. Children learn by example, be mindful how you treat your spouse :-)

    So true!

For Wally's sip and see, I received this saying on a card from my deceased Aunt Flo (delivered by her daughter). I get teary just thinking about it.

    Finally...someone gets it :)

Children don't teach themselves right from wrong. It is the way they are raised that determines the type of person they will become. Adults are created. It doesn't just happen over night.

One of the most important things I've learned and I say this over and over and over again!

Exactly!! I'm so exhausted from all the people who think they're holier than thou just because they go to church and constantly talk about what a good person they are...if you feel the need to constantly have to say you're a good person you probably aren't...lol.

    Always on my mind

    remember.....

    Oh my how true
