Before and After: Remodeled Ranch House I could live here happily for the rest of my life

This was an old ranch house that received a total makeover. You can click through to BHG to see before and after.

Ranch House Style:Ranch houses became popular in the 1950s and '60s when land was cheap and families wanted an economical house in the suburbs. Characteristics: -- Single story, with a low-pitched gable end or hipped roof -- Usually rectangular, but can be L- or U-shaped -- Long and low to the ground -- Sliding glass doors leading to a patio -- Attached garage, simple open floor plan -- Plain, lack of ornamentation

I love the "extra" roof peaks and the added front porch! gives the house the "wow" factor so many ranches do not have!

Entrance Plans Fixed French doors at the front and side of this home's entry allow sunlight in, and wraparound steps add to the welcoming effect. Exterior shutters against the painted brick walls make the windows appear larger. A teak bench encircling a tree makes the front terrace a delightful place to rest in the shade.

En este caso, para reforzar el cambio, recurre a una técnica de pintura decorativa distinta al existente." En esta oportunidad te mostramos el efecto ESTUCO..
