The Best Frosting {aka Magical Frosting} ~ It is the best frosting I have ever tasted in my life! Yield: About 4 c frosting (plenty for two 9-inch cake layers). Ingredients needed: 1.1/2 c sugar, 1/4 c AP flour, 3 T cornstarch, 1/4 tsp salt, 1.1/2 c milk (I used 1% with stellar results), 2 tsp vanilla extract, 24 T (3 sticks) butter cut into 24 pieces and softened at room temperature. Chocolate Version: Add 1/4 c cocoa to the ingredients in the 1st step, then add 3 oz semisweet chocolate.

Interesting "cooked" frosting recipe. Complex, but could be worth it!
