I took a little “field trip” to my sister’s classroom last week.  She teaches in San Diego and is the reason I found my way to education.  She is a literacy queen and really knows her stuff when it comes to reading instruction.  I snapped several pictures of her anchor charts during my visit.  Enjoy!

Wonderful anchor chart idea to get students to ask more questions. Using this chart, teachers are able to show students the importance of asking questions to learn more or to get clarity on a new topic. This chart also gives students the chance to practice their questioning skills, which is an important part of inquiry.

questioning strategy: This would be a neat display to have in the classroom to encourage students to ask questions about things they are curious about. Asking lots of questions helps students clarify their thoughts.
