Keep wasps and bees away this summer. Put about 10 cloves in 1/2 a lemon and set out. They do not like the scent. Cut off the ends so they sit flat.

Homemade Natural Mosquito Spray

Homemade Natural Mosquito Spray. Here’s what you’ll need: essential oils (citronella and lemongrass are must-haves) I also like lavender & peppermint, & you could use tea tree oil or geranium oil for tick protection), 14 oz. bottle of witch hazel (available in grocery stores & pharmacies), a spray bottle, a jar for mixing, and a funnel.

Awesome mosquito repellent: 1 cup lemon scented ammonia, one cup lemon dish soap, mix in a sprayer you can attach to your hose (I reused an old bottle of lawn fertilizer) and spray your lawn - I did this last year and it worked, I think this year I may do it twice

Insect Repellent: 1 pint distilled white vinegar, 1 pint water, 25 drops of tea tree oil, 25 drops of lavender essential oil Shake well and put in a spray bottle. Use every 3 -4 hours when outside during tick season.

Mosquito Spray...I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as well...worth a try...

Stop the coughing at night and sleep-rub 4-6 drops of Eucalyptus oil on the soles of their feet. That's all...no more coughs....(I'll be glad I pinned this someday!)
