Probably my first taste of true romantic passion and desire. What a classic.

Wuthering Heights is one of the world's greatest tales of unrequited love, captivating readers with its intense passion and drama since its publication in 1847. The powerful, complex bond between Heathcliff and Catherine unfolds in the wild, romantic landscape of the Yorkshire moors.

Popular Book Club Novels...The only ones I've read so far are Kite Runner, Room, and Their Eyes Were Watching God. I have Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks here on my To Read shelf, and I've seen the movies of Life of Pi and Lovely Bones but haven't read them yet. I think this is a pretty good reading list, although it ought to include Joyce Carol Oates!

The Bronte Sisters: Three Novels (Barnes & Noble Leatherbound Classics Series) The three novels are Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights (one of my favorites) and Agnes Grey. I've only read Wuthering Heights out of the three.
