I want this but much cozier and not as brightly lit or as wide open. I want my home library to give you the feeling of stepping into a quaint little used bookstore. Dark wood stairs, sliding ladders, and hidden corners where you can get lost in a book.

I would be in book heaven. One day I'll have not only a home big enough for a room like this, but also enough books to fill the shelves. Well, a girl can dream, can't she? Private library designed by architecture firm Ilai, photography by Lukas Wassmann.

I love it, but it really needs a comfy couch.
