Johanna Maria Magdalena Goebbels (11 Nov. 1901--1 May 1945). First Lady of the Third Reich, Magda Goebbels helped to put a glamorous face on the Nazi regime. A devoted mother of 7, there was one virtue she valued even above maternal love: loyalty. That trait kept her devoted to her unfaithful husband and to her Fuhrer to the bitter end, even at the cost of her children's lives.
