We inherited this from my husband's grandmother when she passed away. I'm trying to convince my husband it would be so much better out and in use than tucked away in a cedar chest.   This is a twin size quilt. The tiny squares are all, well, postage stamp size. Each block contains 30 squares. Hand quilting. It takes my breath away.   I've been saving scraps in the hopes of someday finding time to do a modern take on this.

1847 quilt - same colors as the cotton floral throw (use on the blue loveseat with the pink graphic pillow, blue and white crochet pillow, and Robin pillow).

These little bow tie blocks are only three inches. I know because I have been working on this quilt for years, using vintage feedsack fabrics I have collected over the years. The pattern is in a McCall's Vintage Quilts Magazine.
