Bathtub paint! Tried it out this evening and I will definitely be doing this again. I used flour instead of cornstarch, it worked perfectly fine. Don't add too much water or else it becomes much too soupy. Once we were done I turned on the faucet. The water was blue and full of bubbles (I used J for the shampoo). The boy enjoyed that part as well. Easy cleanup too!

3 ingredient homemade bathtub paint. Baby wash + corn starch + food coloring. Good use of all his empty baby food jars
Messy fun! I was inspired by this great blog to make my own bathtub paint. Here’s what you do: Pour roughly equal mix cornstarch and liquid soap (I used all natural Trader Joe’s dish soap) with several drops food coloring in a mason jar or other receptacle. Put the cap on tightly and shake it up or use a fork to stir until smooth. That’s it! This is a quick and easy homemade gift you can make for little ones. Note: you will want the mix pretty runny. The paint doesn’t adhere to the tub or walls very when thick. Also, make sure to pour out only a little paint at a time for the child to use, or you won’t have any more paint left to use!
