Cubby Storage Shelves | Plans, $10. Looks great, best for older kids who won't pull the shelves down on themselves. I'd probably go with a cherry wood. If energetic, maybe put an added design on the sides.

I am totally going to do this! I found these amazing old milk crates from a thrift shop a while back, and i bought them not knowing what I would do with them, all I knew was that they were amazing!
