Another pinner says: I've been meaning to do this since Liam was born... lol... was gonna call it the "chore store" Reward points system and home "store"- we totally do this. My kids saved up points all summer and we had a store at the end- they could use their points on things like dollar store finds or Ipod apps, or a song, or a new movie- or a night out with Mom & Dad.... they loved it!!

Chore "Rewards" a chore, get a punch. Get 12 punches, get a surprise. Very cool incentive idea for home!

Kids todo/done chores bored

Your child receives a quarter each time he helps out. Then he can "buy" from the house "store." Teach him about money & responsibility.

Get them in the habit of helping while they are still young!

Make a chore jar for the kids-Make picking a chore fun! Download the sheets. Get all the instructions and printables

I love this idea! The kids determine their own allowance. The harder they choose to work, the more $ they EARN!

This is a great idea. Clipboards for chores right in plain sight. They get a "bonus buck" for completing the tasks without being asked. I've been looking for a good chore chart idea and I just found it! Love this!

a reward system for doing chores and more with a good attitude. I think I might laminate play money and use this concept to start teaching him the value of good work and saving towards a goal.

Laminated chore cards. You give your child the detailed job cards and then off they go to help you keep a clean house! I usually keep a point tally with my smaller kids (big kids dont really care for the point system, you just take away privileges from them if they don't cooperate!)

Good trick to get your kids to help out more
