Starry Starry Night ~ this is a great Christmas season lesson based on Vincent van Gough's Starry Night as Art Histroy lesson. :)

The starry night sky gives the picture a great effect. I like how the tree and the ground look sort of like shadows.

Creative Expressions: G is for Gesso Off (stamping in gesso, then adding dye ink or rub on)

From Connie Collins (Constantly Stamping)

By Shirley. Punch or die-cut the butterflies. Lay on cardstock as masks & temporarily attach them using removable dotto (or punch from Eclipse tape & stick them down). Lay another mask of torn paper so that the text won't cover the card front. Color the text stamp with markers to get the rainbow -- or use a Kaleidacolor ink pad. Stamp the text. Sponge the background. Remove the mask. Add sentiment. Soft and pretty!

Beautiful! Montana skies are so beautiful especially at night. Montana always calls to my soul.
