I didn't actually have any glitter, but we made the sidewalk chalk paints with great success! The kids had a blast and enjoyed cleaning up with a big bucket of soapy water almost as much as painting.

Summer DIY! Homemade Sidewalk Chalk (Honest Tip: Use non-toxic paint)

Easy Homemade Sidewalk Chalk

SIDEWALK PAINT: 1/4 cup of cornstarch, 1/2 cup water and food coloring. Combine the cornstarch and water. Mix. Add a few drops of food coloring. Make a few batches of different colors.

Summer Activity. 1/4" Mt Dew in bottle, add tiny bit of baking soda and 3 capfuls of hydrogen peroxide. Shake and it glows. Pour on sidewalk to "paint"...Who knew!? (The kids will have a blast!!)" doing this this summer MAKE SURE THEY DON'T DRINK IT.
