DIY: Chandelier ~ 1 hula hoop (spray painted) + 2 strings of icicle lights and black electrical tape = magnificent chandelier... Awesome! great idea for an outdoor party!

spray paint hula hoops black, string lights on them and hang them from the ceiling.

A different way of makinga chandelier using a grapevine wreath-like this so much better than the hula hoop one... spray paint the grapevine white instead

Four unfinished wooden crates from Michael's ($12.99 each), spray painted white, tacked together and then bolted to the wall. Genius!

Easy DIY project : 2 pallets, 3 pavers ... such an easy thing to do! There are NO directions on the site, but I would assume that you secure the pallets together with nails ... the pavers (large squares) look like they are just resting on top but I'm sure you could use some kind of adhesive to have them become permanently attached. I'm thinking I'd use a few slabs of either discounted (broken, chipped) marble or slate! I'm going to try and convince Hubby to give this a try!

Strings of mini-lights attached to a rod behind sheer fabric.

Why didnt I think if that ? Tie squares of tulle fabric along a string of Christmas lights. This would be beautiful on a tree or mantle.

I did not know this! Outdoor use. flies HATE pine-sol. Mix it with water, about 50/50 and put it in a spray bottle. Use to wipe counters or spray on the porch and patio table and furniture Drive them away!

Hula Hoop - DIY Chandelier, great idea! How fun for an outdoor deck!

Just print off any picture you want, then spray paint a piece of wood black, cut the picture to match the size of the wood. Using Mod podge coat the wood then lay the picture on top. Once it has dried thoroughly, use sandpaper to rough up the edges, then put a layer of mod podge over the picture. paint some eye hooks and use pretty ribbon as a hanger and voila
