My mother has made one of these for my daddy, herself, my brother, my sister-in-law, my daughter and me. Ours have scraps from old flannel shirts and other saved fabrics mixed in with new flannels that she bought. She has also made one for each of my cousin's three little girls and for my best friend's new baby. They are precious! They are made of 'cutsey' baby flannels.
Beautiful throw! You could even do this to put on your bed, make shams and valances for your windows. What a unique way to decorate your bedroom for fall. Or any season, depending on the colors you use. I have my next project in mind.
REALLY cute puff quilt (...But buttons and embellishments on a baby quilt are unsafe unless they're appliqued securely down. Love the pop of color the buttons provide - what is an alternative to buttons to add that color and adorable tufted look?)
Rag flag quilt with denim back. I've been looking for a really cute quilt to do with all the denim I have saved... Could this be it?
