    FIzzing tea party -- colors and chemistry! SUPPLIES: Tray, plastic containers, variety of spoons, syringes. White vinegar, water, food coloring, and baking soda. DIRECTIONS: Randomly fill half the containers with vinegar and the other half with water. Add food coloring. Have child add spoonfuls of baking soda to containers. Vinegar will fizz; water will not. Alternatively, use syringe to drop vinegar on mounds of baking soda.
