Woolworth's Soda Fountain- My mom took me here one Saturday morning and bought me a Coca-Cola ice cream float. The old-fashioned glass they served it in, you could keep and I still have mine after all these years. Yes, I remember the one in Tacoma very well!*
Woolworth's Soda Fountain A very rare treat for us as kids in San Francisco was to eat at the counter.

The Step Stool Chair My grandmother had the red one. I sat on it at the end of the cabinet and watched her make pies. One of my favorite memories ever! Did they stop making these things?
Vintage Step Stool for kitchen-- I am using these for counter stools in my kitchen. It's the perfect way to leave step stools out all the time when you don't have a cabinet to put them away in!!
The Step Stool Chair- My mom had a yellow one, so I bought one at a vintage store a few years ago. It is still in my kitchen.
My dad spoiled my mom with this gift one Christmas when I was real young, as she loved to cook but could not stand for long periods of time and we had high cupboards that she could not reach... I loved using this chair as a ladder also...Of course we had the red one as our counter tops were bright red :o) Good memories
The Step Stool Chair --- we loved the red step stool chair MamaLulu had when we were kids..
Vintage Step Stool for kitchen-- love! on the search for one! :) the quest is on!

VINTAGE TRIPLE HAMILTON BEACH MILKSHAKE MACHINE. Oh, it would be so cool to have one of these. I know from my days in "the biz", that they make the best milkshakes! My aunt and uncle had one of these in their Fountain Blue Restaurant in Niagara Falls ! Childhood memories are always nice!
Vintage Milkshake Mixer ...I know I would never actually need to make this many shakes at once, but it is pretty darn cute! I actually used to use one of these when I worked at an "old-fashioned soda fountain" in 2004/2005. I cut my finger on it too!
Vintage Milkshake Mixer ... every drugstore counter and diner had them. My mom used to take me to Hayes's Drugstore after my dentist appointments. They had the BEST chocolate malts!
Hamilton Beach milkshake maker. I have one of these in my kitchen today. Paid alot of money for it at the antique store. Still works great for it's age.

Baby Seat ... they had a metal wire stand on the back that would fold flat. What a change to the infant seats of today! I used one like this (yellow) for my kids.
Baby Seat. This sure looks like the one I had for my kids, which was handed down from my niece and nephew who were babies in the 70s. I remember the Holly Hobbie fake quilt pattern on the vinyl cushion.
Baby Seat. Used also as a car seat. Often placed on lap of oldest daughter in car. No seatbelts required
Baby Seat, the first baby carrier. I had this for both of my babies. We used to call them Pumpkin Seats.
Baby Seat - I used this as my oldest son's carseat. Dumped him many times. Not a good idea.
Baby Seat > Amazing how our kids ever survived...this was the only option early '70s. = O

Childhood memory: Coca Cola Fountain Paper Cone 1940's, 1950's and 60's- served at Woolworths and Newberry's Soda Fountains. Somehow as a kid, this just made it taste special. Though, the paper straws did get soggy if you took to long!
Soda Fountain Paper Cone and holder. - I don't think the kids have ever experienced these. Terry's parents own a drugstore when he was very small, used these in it and we have some of the metal cup holders packed away as family heirlooms. Nsanas
Soda Fountain Paper Cone and holder. Pretty sure we had our Vanilla Cokes (from the drug store next to Worcester's Montgomery Wards store) in these!
