Mala beads are a wonderful way of meditating on a mantra or word. Sit in a comfy position and hold the beads gently in your hand. With each repetition of the mantra or word pull a bead until you have gone all the way round. You could focus on gratitude,peace,love. Sometimes I go around thanking everybody and everything - each bead representing a different thank you.
