The Château de Chillon (Chillon Castle) is an island castle located on the shore of Lake Geneva in the commune of Veytaux, at the eastern end of the lake, 3 km from Montreux, Switzerland. The castle consists of 100 independent buildings that were gradually connected to become the building as it stands now.

Located in Kansai, Japan, the fortress is known for centuries for the defensive construction, beautiful design, and 83 network buildings. Although the building was demolished and rebuilt 2 times since 1333, the building is still featured with its original advance defensive system up to now. Today, the castle is known as the most visited castle and UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Japan.
Saw Switzerland on my way to Italy . A really cool place to visit. Wish I had more then just a day over there .
