Four wall hangings I have been making with Grade 6 students. There are 24 pieces in each wall hanging which will be framed shortly. I really don't want to take them back to school.

This is a method of making textured felt by building up layers of wool and other fibres, sewing the whole thing up between two layers of netting used for regular felting, then simply putting it into the washing machine with your laundry

GB...work in progress...I think to machine felt this, you'd have some pinning to do--as the piece is very large. But once you get going on a felting sewing machine, it would go much faster than nuno felting!!!
