I bet this would be wonderful in a kids room where bookshelves don't quite stay organized. Double curtain rod attached to wall with fabric on dowel rods.

Book and magazine holder - fabulous. Do you have any idea how much room these take up on my nightstand?

If my kids were still young, I'd be breaking out the sewing machine and stitching up these book slings designed by Ashley (with her easy instructions) at domesticimperfect... |

Need an easy, customizable way to store children's books?? This easy holder only uses rope, wood dowels, and some fabric and can be hung anywhere!

I LOVE this... might have to make one for my notebook or journal or some other book I use regularly :D

Holy cow, what a great DIY for a kids room, totally doing this sometime.

Great idea for records!! Crate Wall Storage for books: JoAnn's unfinished wooden crates (<$8); Cut crate in half, paint, attach hanging brackets, place something (file folder/poster board/plastic placemat) cut to fit on the bottom to cover the slats. You can use painters tape to create the line to saw -- it'll help in case of any splintering.

Book holder for the car :) The pockets were cut to 8x9in. with a felt backing. I made all 4 pockets, then topstitched them onto a 11x30in solid panel of felt (front and back) that was sewn top and sides. I overlapped the pockets about 3 inches. Inserted a piece of cardboard into the solid panel and then finished the last side. Add straps, and done! Smart idea.

Decorate and organize at the same time. If you have book lovers at home, this is perfect. I made one for each of my girls to put by their beds. They make great gifts too!!

This is really cute. I think it would look good in pink in a little girls room or a playroom.
