Quick, easy winter display with items from the Dollar Store
Welcome poster: Just cut out pictures of your library staff posed the way you want them.
Holocaust/Injustice: Our whole tenth grade goes to the Holocaust Museum and then studies other injustices. This display encourages them to act on what they saw.
No words needed for this spring display! The butterflies were made on a Cricket--two together for a look. Not an original idea--just my twist on it. So thankful that so many people share!
Reel Good Reads: I cut a section off the top of the tri-fold to make the marquee.
Redo of an old idea for my new school
Same theme redone for my new library
Dive into Reading: borrowed the idea from someone else and made it to go onto a tri-fold.
Announcing the Arrival of New Books: I use the amount of money spent, the number of boxes, etc. as the birth statistics.
Free-handed drawing from someone else's idea--satisfied my need to color!
Pop Open a Good Book: Use popcorn bags and fill them with a popcorn look alike for a look.
Fall Book Harvest: The leaves were cut from pages of withdrawn books.
Black History Month conversation starter--I hope!
Easy to make and fun tweak of someone else's idea. Love the buttered popcorn look. When scrunching the paper for the kernels, make a center "stem" and crunch the paper around it for a more authentic look!
