German illusionist Alois Kassner, 1920's poster. Alois Kassner (August 28, 1887 - March 23, 1970) was a German illusionist.He performed a with a full evening show with twenty assistants, one of the largest magical shows in Germany of his day. He made a short come-back after the last war and retired at the age of 65. His farewell show was on August 1954 in Berlin. Kassner was a member of the I. B. M. and the Magic Circle. His colorful posters are treasured by collectors.

Zati Sungur (1898-1984) was a professional illusionist, starting in 1920, that toured Europe and South America along with his real name as "Zati Bey", "Sati Richmond" and "Conde Sati von Richmond." He created the "Thin Model Sawing Illusion" around 1932. Sungur retired in 1965 to teach and manufacture magic. He last appeared on stage was in 1983 during the months of April and May on a North American tour at the age of 86. #magic
