The proverbial "leap of faith" is actually the size of a mustard seed. Keep going. And by the way, look at St. Augustine. Don't become disheartened that you made bad choices in the past; make the best choice you ever made by turning to the Lord-- watch as the Lord, through the Sacraments, reorients your life and puts a lot of broken pieces back together.
Absolutely true. Going to Mass on Sundays is actually the bare minimum. We should also receive Communion and Penance regularly, and develop an active prayer life. Because of how much it lays out the spiritual logic of Salvation in Christ through the Church, I can't recommend the daily Rosary enough. If surrendering your life to God seems daunting, then doing these things allows Him to take over itty bit by itty bit.
Some people will go to great lengths to hurt and degrade you, which is very sad. Don't let them steal your joy. Keep moving forward with grace and honesty. Always have faith and believe in yourself. Also, as hard as it may be, pray for those people who attack your character as a human being. By doing so, you no longer let them live rent free in your thoughts and feelings. Give it to God.
