Moroni burying the Book of Mormon plates. His father, Mormon, died in battle with the Lamanites. There were 24 survivors of what was once a great nation. They would not deny the Christ; all are killed, except Moroni, who evaded the Lamanites. The plates would come forth in these latter-days as Another Witness of Jesus Christ. The Stick of Ephriam and the Stick of Judah (the Bible) are one for God's purposes to save His children. See Bible prophecies.
