Voici un dessin suisse 1990 - 2010 29 Jan 2011 – 25 Apr 2011, Exhibition Opening: 28 Jan 2011 6.00 pm The exhibition Voici un dessin suisse presents a cross section of Swiss draughtsmanship and contemporary art practices. Including works by over 40 artists from all parts of Switzerland who, since the 1990s, have left their mark on the art of drawing, it encourages viewers to discover the various and surprising trends of contemporary drawing which, taking the paper support as its point of departure, link up with other forms of artistic expression such as installation, animation, printing or mural art. Conceived by the Musée Jenisch Vevey – Centre national du dessin, the exhibition was shown at the Musée Rath in Geneva in 2010. In collaboration with the Aargauer Kunsthaus Voici un dessin suisse was adapted for its presentation in Aarau. Artist Karim Noureldin has developed the design concept for the exhibition spaces.
